Pass some my way, yeah. And yeah, I've had a business go out of its way. I found a bamboo nightgown online and wrote asking if they accepted layaway. It was over a hundred dollars. They wrote back saying how 'bout we just ship it, and you remember us and tell your friends.
The first year we were in this house the heat wen out on a cold night. The next morning I found the papers showing who had installed the system 10 years earlier. He came out and as he fixed it he showed me what to do if the same thing happened again.Over the next three years the same problem
happened six or seven times.I fixed it each time in about ten minutes saving a $70 service call each time. When it needs replaced he will get my business.Has a business ever gone the extra mile to keep you as a customer?
I once bought a Pur faucet water purifier and the green/red light that shows it's time to change filter stopped working after maybe almost 2 years. But at that moment I thought I only had it for maybe 8 months so I called and complained its short life. The company first asked me if I still had the invoice to which I said no, then without further questioning they sent me a voucher that let me pick up a new one from any store. Upon further reflection, I was turning the purifier on and off too often so the light went out. Now every time I switch it on I will fill up several pots and pans together.
I've had things like that happen. I get meals free on occasion, and even my husband's too sometimes. It pays to complain! It's happened recently at a fried chicken place which shall remain nameless, and they were willing to get themselves in trouble to keep me coming back by giving me exactly what I wanted. I go back, and probably would have anyway. They don't need to know that though!Has a business ever gone the extra mile to keep you as a customer?
That's great.
I am now in eastern Europe and that sort of service would only happen when**** freezes over.
I do miss the customer service in the states. You would not believe the attitude over here.
Enjoy.
I did order over the internet from the Express clothing stores.
I ordered a blouse and jeans for a total over about $75.
There was a mix up and it never arrived to our home in Vegas. They credited my account.
After a couple more weeks the package arrived and I told them, they said just keep it and consider it a one time thing without being charged for my hassle. They were great.
I ordered a jacket from a mail catalog. The check that accompanied my order was cashed, however, I didn't receive the jacket. I phoned the company and they sent another jacket.
Yes! Restaurants; my cable service; utility company, my car financier; and my credit card...I find if you communicate nicely, honestly you get really good service
