my moms Friend always comes over,right at dinner time when were eating,ends up staying so we kinda have to offer her food.
sometimes she will come over, and brought some type of dessert,but we already had bought dessert,so she leaves with the dessert,even though she came over for supper at our house!!!
my mum went over to her house last weekend, she didn't have any bread, for breakfast in the morning, didn't go buy some,even though she invited her over.
my mom had to buy her *own*pizza for dinner,. the friend had 2 coupons, gave one to my mom becuz it was one per person, and my mom had to buy it.
she left it there,at the friends house,but if that was reverse situation the friend would of taken it home.
out of the blue she asks us for dinner. she has hamburgers. there is four of us in our family.2 iin hers. only 5 hamburgers. she doesn't get anymore, and splits one hamburger in half....so my mum has to take the half....
and this is irreverent but she rented a movie with lesbian scenes in it... and when my mum said this movie is about blah blah blah she went and turned it off! "becuz she cant watch that"
um hello!?Would this be considered"bad ettiquette"...?
YES, that is bad ettiquette. And that is extremely rude! My friends do that to me all the time. and I HATE it! Like one time my friend asked me to go to the movies with her but told me I had to pay for both of us and pick her up and bring her home. Um, hello? You asked me, not the other way around. I hate rude people!!

Can you PLEASE help me solve this math riddle, it's driving me INSANE!!!?
3 people order a pizza, and it cost $30. Each one of the 3 people give the cashier 10 dollars in singles. The cashier forgot about the 5 dollar discount coupon that one of the people gave her, so she has to give the money back. She keeps 2 dollars for a tip, and gives each of the 3 people $1. Now they have all only paid $9 a piece. 9*3=27, + her $2 dollar tip = $29. Where did the other dollar go?Can you PLEASE help me solve this math riddle, it's driving me INSANE!!!?
People pay: $27
Cashier keeps: -$2
Discount: $5
27-2+5=30
Easy! If $5 dollars was given back from 30 than only 25 was spent.
you don't add the 2 dollars to the 27 you subtract. 27 minus 2 equals th 25 that was spent.
common error. now you take the 25 dollars plus the 2 dollars plus the 3 dollars and you get 30 what you started with.
Can you PLEASE help me solve this math riddle, it's driving me INSANE!!!?
As far as they are aware, they paid $27 total, the cashier just kept $2 without telling them. $25 for the pizza plus $2 for the tip.
They then got $3 back
$30 total
they're using false logic to confuse you!!
entire price=30
each man paid 10, 3*10=30
5 dollars off: 30-5=25.
cashier gives dollar to each:
25+3=28
2 dollars in managers pocket:
28+2=30 Can you PLEASE help me solve this math riddle, it's driving me INSANE!!!?
30-5=25
the cashier kept 2 and gave 3 back
2+3=5
25+5=30
there is no other dollar
you can't do math the wrong way
instead of adding the $2 tip to the amount they paid(27) you should be subtracting it so that it adds back to $25(the cost of the pizza).
The first payed 10,the second payed 10,but the third only had to pay 5,so thats.25 total,so she gave each 1 dollar back out of the remaining 5 of the 30,,30-5=25,,25-3=2.,,,2 dollar tip
it's called human error. you can look all you want but you will never find it!
The next time u go for pizza with ur friends and a $5 discount coupon, ask the same to the cashier at the desk. You will certainly get the answer.
hmmmm.....i've head this one before but i forgot what it is. sorry....not much help

how?
in second grade we had this weekly thing where we had to read a book and write about it. so i read judy moody gets famous but i only read the half. the other part was a different book stuck inside that one. i was such a social person, a little shy, but whateva and i didnt let anyone mess with me without me sayin something i was so awesome and then that week:
we could get a coupon for a free mini 4-slice pizza from pizza hut. and the teacher was like you read that?! and im like yah i read judy moody gets famous but no one knew it was two books stuck together so everyone thought i read this thick book. so she was like wooo thats amazing and gave me one of those coupons. i didnt know what she was talkin about until every one was like woah you read something that thick! and i didnt wanna say anything cuz some people were mean to me sometimes and there WAS nothing i could do so they would be mean to me more and it was 2nd grade and i really just didnt tell my teacher cuz the shyness kicked in. so i tore up the coupon and told myself to forget about it, make it up! so i decided to read so many books and hard ones too so i could make it up and i just spent all my life reading to make it up and now im in 7th grade im ugly, sorta stupid, really shy, and antisocial.
but sometimes i just break through and i am awesome like i used to be.its like the person i was, the person i am, and the person i wanna be is all locked up inside me and sometimes it just comes out but gets locked up again.
so what can i do? i mean there is this one person that can probably help me because he is so chill and just like the me i used to be. so yah.
what can i do? am i just screwed? whateva you say- whether you say anything at all- my life based on a lie.My life on a lie? what!?
You know what? I think your life sounds a lot like that book you read in second grade. The Real You is like the smaller book inside the thicker one; people were impressed by the thickness of the book, and because you were little, you didn't know how to clear up the confusion.
So now you're not little anymore, and you've atoned for your transgression a zillion times, but you're still beating yourself up emotionally. Why are you doing that? You sound like an awesome person to me, right now.
Your life is NOT based on a lie. Just be who you are, and people will like you or not. If they don't, it's their loss, but I'm sure that (now or later) you'll realize that who you are is just great.
So why not now?
Have you ever read this:
"If I am not for me, who will be for me?
If not now, when?"
Enjoy now, please.Have fun, and be proud of your awesome self. :)My life on a lie? what!?
you're welcome, but please be aware that you're choosing loneliness. You can choose to be friendly to someone else who seems lonely, instead. :)
I'm sorta shy too! but, i have friends and I'm social. start participating more in class... talk to that girl who seems nice. get know her.... how 'bout a little make-up? style your hair? cut or grow your hair? christmas IS coming soon... ask mom and dad for new clothes, make-up, cell phone, hair stuff... good make-up and hair stores to go to are local drug stores big or small. good stores to go to for clothes would be Tillys, Pac Sun, Hollister, Abercrombie, EXPRES, Limited, and American Eagle. check our cell phones on line. show your parents the one you like. here is my email address in case you need anything: briktona@yahoo.com

Do restaurants use the same ingrediants and quantities for pizzas if you pay regular price or use a coupon.?
They use the same. Usually they don't know you have a coupon till you are ready to go to the cashier for paying. At that point I have never seen the cook come running out and scrape off some ingredients because you are getting a lower price.Do restaurants use the same ingrediants and quantities for pizzas if you pay regular price or use a coupon.?
I think they do use the same ingredients and quantities for pizza, but, I've noticed that when certain Fast food chains have burgers on sale, they are usually crappy compared to when you pay regular price. Just my experience.

Extremely HARD problem I don't get it ! Help me?
Luis and Jonah are planning to order a pizza. They can choose between a coupon offer and the store special:
Coupon: $13 for a plain pizza
$1 per topping
Store Special: $11 for a plain pizza
$2 per topping
Write 2 equations and show all your work to find the number of toppings that make the two choices the same price.Extremely HARD problem I don't get it ! Help me?
Let c = the price of a pizza on the coupon offer
Let s = the price of a pizza on the store special
Let t = the number of toppings on your chosen pizza
c = 13+t %26lt;---$13 plus $1 times the number of toppings
s = 11+2t %26lt;--- $11 plus $2 times the number of toppings
You want c to equal s. Since c = 13 + t and s = 11 + 2t, if c = s, then we can also set the other side of both equations as equal......
13 + t = 11 + 2t
Subtract 11 from both sides to isolate the numerals on one side...
2 + t = 2t
Subtract t from both sides to isolate the variables on the other side...
2 = t
Therefore, when both pizzas have 2 topings, both pizzas cost the same.Extremely HARD problem I don't get it ! Help me?
13 + x = 11 + 2x
x = 2
If they order two toppings, either coupon will yield a fifteen-dollar bill. Good luck. =)Extremely HARD problem I don't get it ! Help me?
The equation for the coupon offer is:
let x = number of toppings, then
let p = total price for pizza
p = 1x + 13
Now, for the store special
p = 2x + 11
To determine the number of toppings that yield the same price, we need to solve for the x that makes both equations the same. to do this, we get:
2x + 11 = x + 13
x + 11 = 13
x = 2
So, if they get 2 toppings, they will pay the same price whether they use the coupon or get the store special. Let's check the math to see if it works:
Coupon: p = x + 13 or p = 2 + 13 = 15
Special: p = 2x + 11 or p = 2*2 + 11 = 15
The answer checks.
Make the variable "X" the number of toppings.
Then the equation becomes:
coupon pizza price = store pizza price
13 + X = 11 + 2X
Use algebra to find "X":
13 - 11 - X = 11 - 11 + 2X - X
2 = X
PROOF:
The $13 pizza with 2 $1 toppings is $15
The $11 pizza with 2 $2 toppings is $15
Coupon: $13 for a plain pizza
$1 per topping
Store Special: $11 for a plain pizza
$2 per topping

**SINCERE** PLEASE HELP - I need to know what you would do????
If a volunteer was rasing money ($4,000 - to volunteer in a 3rd world country) and came to your door selling a coupon book for $15 with one coupon for a free something from a certain business(pizza, movie tickets, oil change, etc. valued at $15- so you made your money back) then there were more coupons to the same business you could use later to save money, would you buy it.
He (the volunteer) would recieve $5 for each one he sold + once he sold 600, which would be $3,000 of what he needed, a company would contribute the additional $1,000 he needed.
On top of this, 10% of the intitial sale would be contributed to a local charity -
MEANING if 800 coupons were sold you would be a part of an action group that had raised $1,200 for a local charity, and help a volunteer raise $4,000 to go teach skills and serve in a 3rd world country.**SINCERE** PLEASE HELP - I need to know what you would do????
If the main (free coupon) was at a business that I normally used or would use I would probably do it. This sounds like a reasonable plan.
Yes, if the coupons in the book were ones I could use and get my money back.**SINCERE** PLEASE HELP - I need to know what you would do????
I would buy it.

I think these deals are usually bogus. I know someone who bought one of those coupon books, but then when she tried to use the one of the coupons, the business said it wasn't real. Be careful, these guys are usually scam artists.
yea
I would if it was local businesses.
Never
no way. it's a pyramid scheme and i'd rather send my money directly to an organization already there.
If it were a legitamite offer, yes.
boy thaz loadsa math for a charity. anyways i would buy it.
why go through all of that for $4,000.00? if you really want to use the money to volunteer in a 3rd world country get your friends and family to ask for cash donations are free ticket on your behalf. no one is gonna believe you unless you're backed by someone to prove that's what you want the money for.
Sure. Most people would spend $15 for a good cause..besides, it's tax deductible.
sure, would u buy a silk scarf from me then, cost 15 dollar, 5 for me, 5 for good cause (stoping child prostition in cambodia) and 5 for the woman who made the scarf, iff you like you can work for me later. contact me.
I have bought those coupons before. They actually do save you a lot of money and they are for a good cause. It's a win - win situation.pearson prentice hall
