I just filled out a job application for pizza huts , this is what i got from them ?

above is the message i got from them a few minutes after i submitted my job application, which was quick ! ! so i know they don't have any job positions available by this time . But i dont understand what they are trying to say in the last sentence , "You understand that by opting in to receive communications, you will not increase or guarantee your chances of being hired." It sounds bad to me when i hear the second clasue .



can someone tell me in other ways of " You understand that by opting in to receive communications,you will not increase or GURANTEE your chances of being hired"

They want to send you junk email advertising their promotions. That statement just explains that signing up to be on this mailing list has nothing to do with whether or not you will be hired.



So click the link if you want to hear about their promotions, and don't click it if you don't, and don't worry about it. It won't affect whether or not you get a job.

Job applications are always tough - how should you fill them in? Should you follow them up when there is no reply? I suppose there's no true solution but the resource in the box below has some really awesome instruction about this. It really helped me when I was composing job applications recently, plus they have extra info on job searching.
What they are telling you is that if you opt in to receive communications or promotions from Pizza hut, it will not support your job application in the future, should there be any vacancies. They are looking to add you to their email list for advertising. Choosing to be put on that list does not help you get a job. You would be better off going into the nearest Pizza Hut and talking to the manager
