Oh yes all the time and when people give me the "eye" at the register while the cashier punches in all my coupons I turn to them and say...."well how much did YOU save today, huh?"......
it works different here in the Netherlands
the store will sell lots of articles with a 20-40% discount, it changes every week which articles
There is also a 35% discount on articles that have reached the expiration date today or tomorrow
Combining these 2 options I will in general have a 25% discount on my total billPoll: do you use coupons?!?
I do, and also save $ because my local supermarket chain has a lot of "combo locos" like last night, having bought a jar of mayonnaise I got a free bottle of salad dressing .. so it evens itself out
I also check the clearance section. I got a 150 pack of Advil awhile back that was on sale for 2.97 (marked down from 11.99) and it had a 2$ coupon on the box to boot =
so what was originally 11.99 became 97 cents (And they're good until October 2010)
If it is over a dollar or get one free I will.
When I was a cashier I hated it when people would give me a coupon for an item they were not buying. "It's the same thing." uh no its not. But I'm all for using coupons, if you know how to use them.Poll: do you use coupons?!?
I've never used a coupon a day in my life, but I'm still a economically struggling college student when I'm away from home just trying to get by.
