Would it be possible to get Ghost Hunters to investigate a "control house?"?

It seems like most of the places they investigate already have a solid history of “hauntings” so of course every strange creak or unexpected movement is going to be attributed to paranormal activity. If I had a couple million dollars to spare, I’d be really tempted to purchase one of those old English manors and be like, “Um, in 1842 one of the maids had an affair with her master and she ended up getting pregnant but he refused to recognize the child as his own so she drowned it before drowning herself and… yeah, you guys should look into this because I feel like she is still with us…”

Then they’re gonna come and be like, “Look, this electromagnetobagumbo is making a noise and I think we can feel her presence right here.” and I’m just gonna be like, “Oh, I’m actually conducting scientific research and you guys were the control group but thank you for your participation, here’s a $10 Pizza Hut coupon.”Would it be possible to get Ghost Hunters to investigate a "control house?"?
It most certainly would be.Would it be possible to get Ghost Hunters to investigate a "control house?"?
Anywhere, because they make people think it's real regardless.Would it be possible to get Ghost Hunters to investigate a "control house?"?
Lie to them about a house being haunted and have them investigate it. See if they come up with anything.

I have always wanted to see this happen. (I am a fan of the show)
