We have been eating pizza from this little place here in my home town and I realized that the prices have never been posted except for the coupons they send out.Does anyone know why some restaurants get away without ever posting their prices?
There is no legal requiement for them to post prices. Many restaurants will only have their prices posted in the menu and the regulars don't necessarily need the menu. One status symbol is that they spell out the price on the menu and is sometimes hard to catch. Some of the posh restaurants will have two menus, one with prices for the men (or whoever will be paying the bill) and one without for the ladies.
Nevertheless, if you are wondering how much something is, ask.Does anyone know why some restaurants get away without ever posting their prices?
Not sure of the reason, but I've been in places like that too. Perhaps they think it makes them seem quaint or chic?
