Approximate price for pizzas with coupon:
Large: $10
Average number of slices: 12
Charging 1.50 per slice will provide $18 for every $10 spent, but does not take into account taxes and tip. Does $2 per slice sound like too much? How much should I charge per slice of pizza for a church fundraiser?
$2 per slice is pretty typical as long as the pieces are not too small. We have ours cut to 10 slices. Be sure to tell whoever is delivering your pizzas that each pizza must have 10 equally sized pieces. They should be used to doing this since many organizations use pizza for fundraising.
Add to your profits by having a specialty pizza contest. Contestants provide a specialty pizza recipe for your fundraiser. Attendees vote on the best pizza idea by dropping money into a jar beside each pizza recipe. The pizza with the most money in the jar wins. The winner gets their pizza recipe printed in the newletter. Many people are passionate about their pizza (sort of like people at a chili cookoff) so you should have plenty of recipe entries. Good luck!
$2 is perfect. I worked at a pizza place that charged 2.10 for a slice of cheese, which was outrageous! But yours is for a fundraiser, which is different, so its okay. How much should I charge per slice of pizza for a church fundraiser?
For what you are paying for the pizza yourself, $2 seems fair. Is that the best deal you can get though? Is there a pizza place in town willing to donate to the cause for advertisement?
Hey its not a charge, its a donation.
Churches normally swindle money from their followers, so ask $6.00 per sliceHow much should I charge per slice of pizza for a church fundraiser?
I don't think it's too much..it's a fundraiser, people shouldn't be concerned about overpaying if it's going to a good cause.
$2 is just fine, if you wanted to make it $3 it would be just as good, people at church know its for a good cause, they will pay whatever you say(within reason)
$2.00 per slice seems fair, besides, its too help out a church. I
how about 6.66 per 3 slices
I think $2 a slice sounds reasonable as long as each slice isn't incredibly tiny or something. Besides, if its a fundraiser, I'm sure a lot of people would buy a slice to help out anyways. Bills are also easier to deal with than change. I think $2 a slice sounds fair, I've seen higher prices.
that sounds perfect!
$1.75
I was originally going to say divide the cost of the pizza by the number of slices and then double it - which would be about $1.67 a slice, but I'd go for two dollars a slice.
It's an even number which makes it more convenient for people to pay for it and since it's a fund raiser people will be willing to pay a little more for each slice.
