About a month ago I bought these Dominos Pizza Fundraising Cards, They sold for $10. I paid $1.50 each. My Intention was to re-sell them, The person I bought them from said I can do whatever I want with them, including re-selling them.
Ebay removed them, saying Dominos Contacted them and told them too. I contacted Dominos and this is what they told me:
You are violating our copyright and trademark rights and you cannot purchase or produce coupons books with offers for Domino鈥檚 Pizza and sell them on eBay. Thank you.
Domino's Legal Department
I dont understand, since Dominos created those cards. How can I sell them? Will Dominos re-imburse me then? How can they make it, they you buy there products, but dont have the right to re-sell them? Now what do I do?
the url on ebay is dead since it was removed, but this is what my auction looked like:
You are bidding on a Card of Buy One Get One FREE Domino's Pizza Coupons.
You recieve a card that looks exactly like the picture shown above, on the Card, there are 16 BOGO FREE Coupons on the back of the Card.

YOU HAVE AN ENTIRE YEAR TO USE THEM, AND YOU CAN USE AS MANY AS YOU LIKE!!

Any Questions, Please Ask, and GOOD LUCK!I just bought 150 Domino's Pizza Fundraising Cards, and now I was told I can not sell them, How? Why? What?
You purchased the cards from a private party, not from Domino's. You have not given Domino's anything, so you cannot expect Domino's to give you anything.
If you purchased the cards directly from Domino's, you have made a deal with them. They would be happy to honor the cards - or probably let you sell them.
But you purchased the cards from a third party, someone who has no connection to Domino's, and who didn't give your money to Domino's. So, Domino's doesn't have to honor the cards. They can also stop you from selling the cards.
You wrote: "...The person I bought them from said I can do whatever I want with them, including re-selling them..." That person lied to you, and that person is the only one you can get any reimbursement from.
In short, you have been scammed.
Sorry. This is harsh news, but true.

Tell the seller you aren't satisfied, and you want your money back.

try selling it to family and friends instead. or give them as gifts. you can do what you want with them, except resell them.
