for example when you order a pizza over the phone, they ask if you have any coupons. Do they make your pizza worse if they know you have a coupon? Why do they ask if you have any coupons when you order?
No; they prefer to be able to enter the coupon into the final price when you order rather than the kid taking your money trying to figure out the discount.
Add.: They would ask if first to see whether or not you do, if you don't, then they don't ask any more about the coupon. If you do, then they ask relevant information about its value.
The reason that they ask if you have a coupon, is because a lot of people have coupons, and because they never if you will have one or not.Why do they ask if you have any coupons when you order?
That gags me too.
It would only make sense if they were delivering, and needed to establish the price.
Just say that you haven't checked yet and will bring it in if you have one when you pick up your food. If they are delivering, then you have to tell them up front
because they dont want to have to go back and adjust your total when you pick up your order or they dont want the delivery guy to have to adjust it if it is being delivered to youWhy do they ask if you have any coupons when you order?
Cause they gotta put in the coupon code with the order. Duh.
It also affects taxes. The coupon should take money off of the food total before the state and/or county tax is added. That way, the tax rate is correct.
I would think they would never bring it up because they will make less money
so they can ring it into the register before the order is totaled out of the system
It's quicker and easier to handle a coupon when ringing up the meal at the start.
They might poop on it if you dont, Id be careful...........
I think when they ring it up on the register it is easier if they know if you have coupons or not
